hello, happy sunday.
I am writing to you with birds chirping somewhere in the distance. The air is hot, thick with the dry warmth of our sunny season. Every now and then a light breeze moves through. Some leaves are turning yellow, a few fading brown at the edges, the wind moving through the grass, the birds answering each other, the sound of my fingers on this keyboard as I write to you.
My mind has been loud lately. I am tired, if I am honest, of spinning out on the questions I cannot answer: whether AI reshapes the economy before we are ready, whether we end up in a world of painters and poets with universal income or one where a handful of trillionaires inherit everything and the rest of us figure out what comes next. I do not know. So I keep returning to what I can do, which is write to you right now, feed my curiosity, sit with this heat and this breeze and let that be enough. And it is enough. It keeps leading me back to something that feels more durable than any forecast: I have faith. Faith in us as humans. Faith that there is something worth protecting in every person. Faith in love.
