now
inspired by derek sivers' idea, this is a living snapshot of what i'm up to right now.
thoughts i'm pondering
"Your purpose is not something you do. It's who you are when you're not lying to yourself." - Martha Beck
we're obsessed with finding "our purpose" but you don't need one grand mission. you can have several: being a good daughter, friend, team member.
seeing yourself as flexible and evolving frees you from rigid definitions. your purpose can shift as you grow, and that's not only okay—it's expected.
we get stuck in analysis paralysis trying to figure out a grand, all-encompassing purpose. this gets overwhelming, especially when tied to identity and status.
life
chose hermit mode in a small rural town that feels like the shire. barely leave my room, minimum social contact.
quit instagram 90+ days ago, closed whatsapp in may. needed a clean break to detox.
reading more books, watching less youtube. my friends are mostly podcast hosts who don't know i exist.
swapped instagram for communities: ness labs and craig mod's special projects.
running an experiment: publishing one article and newsletter each week with ness labs.
moving my sites from squarespace to webflow. want more creative control over how things look.
