Hello beautiful,
Happy Sunday.
Today I do not feel like writing about work. I think we are all a little AI
fatigued. Even Andrew Karpathy, who coined “vibe coding,” says he feels behind.
But I do want to share, as a form of accountability and as a small window into my
mind.
I have been sitting with this decision. I want something more traditional for now.
Director of operations or something along those lines. Still within startups or
smaller companies, not enterprise. Somewhere I can build systems, throw ideas
against the wall, and see what sticks.
Because at the same time, I want to build. A lot.
I keep thinking about launching multiple ideas powered by agents, paired with AI
avatars, simple websites, lead magnets, digital products, maybe even merch. Things
that can run, attract attention, and eventually turn into something bigger. Maybe
even communities with memberships.
But the reality is that the competition for attention is about to get brutal.
Everyone, and their grandmother, can build now. And it is only getting easier.
So my approach is simple. Try a lot, but keep it light. I want something that
makes money without needing me. Simple funnels. Simple sales. Using AI avatars for
content, TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and directing that traffic into the small
ecosystems I build.
And then there is the other pull.
Real life.
In-person experiences. Retreats. Communities. Spaces where people gather, offline.
That feels like the future too, but in the opposite direction. More analog, more
human, more meaningful.
I want to build something there eventually. Something intentional. A brand around
that. Harmony Labs, I am coming back to you soon.
And maybe that is why, for the first time, I feel okay having a 9 to 5. Because
now it is not instead of. It is alongside. I can build systems during the day, and
still have my 5 to 9, my weekends, my own projects. It does not feel like I am
betraying myself anymore.
Another thing that keeps circling in my head is people.
Family, love, friendships.
Most days, I live like a hermit. Working, at my computer, listening to music,
barely talking to anyone. I do not watch Netflix. I do have a bit of a YouTube
problem. But more than that, I know I need connection. Real connection.
If I want a different life, I have to change what I am doing.
And still, there is a part of me that wonders if some of us are built for quieter
paths. More solitary. More inward.
If I am just wired to be a lone wolf.
And honestly, right now, in this moment, I feel peace.
Sitting here, writing this. Sharing a small glimpse of my thoughts, my silly
little life, with you.
There is something magical about it. I am here, typing, and you are somewhere else
in the world, at some random moment in your day, choosing to read this. It makes
me think about how deeply connected we all are. Like we are part of the same
invisible, collective consciousness.
So maybe I am not that alone.
