i first heard this song in the final scene of vanilla sky.
it’s the moment when david is on the rooftop, choosing to wake up from his dream.
the song plays as he jumps, and two quotes from that scene stayed with me:

“i’ll see you in another life when we are both cats.”
“every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.”

for a while, i used to play this song on loop at night. just the instrumental.
i would daydream about loving someone the way this song feels.
